Sordin AB was established in Falun, Sweden in 1989. From the start, we were focused on designing hearing & face protection for the forestry industry. Over the recent years we have seen a very positive growth and in 2005 our turnover exceeded 16 M Euro with a good profit margin.

During the year 2004, Mine Safety Appliances Company (MSA) reached an agreement to acquire Sordin AB.
MSA Sordin will continue to operate from its current location in Sweden and will become part of MSA Europe.
The acquisition strengthens MSA’s ability to manufacture and supply a full line of products used by consumers and industrial customers for protection “above the neck.”
